Hello, hello!
Amid an ever-evolving collective geopolitical and climate crisis, it remains vital we reconsider our relationship with Mother Earth. We cannot eternally take without consequence.
Who are we?
Lagom is produced and edited by co-founders Tracey Creed and Amandine Paniagua.
Tracey has 7+ years of experience in content strategy, including SEO, copywriting, email marketing and communications and also holds a postgraduate degree in nutrition. Amandine is an architectural designer with 10+ years of experience, also deeply involved within the Aotearoa Permaculture community, who has additionally spent the past four years writing, styling, and modelling.
Our combined skill set is wide and diverse. We write, edit, and publish four to six articles per month covering environmental themes, food writing, interviews and product reviews. With a deep knowledge of environmental impact and sustainability issues, specialising in the food, beauty and wellness industries, we offer a unique perspective you won't read anywhere else.
What’s in our newsletter?
A major goal of Lagom is to provoke thoughts about the decisions we make and the realities of cost and consumption—inspiring systems change to prioritise collective well-being. We explore the issues at the intersection of health, climate, waste and the connectivity of our systems, helping our readers make choices that will benefit their environment, their community and themselves.
Why subscribe?
Free subscribers will receive a newsletter published on the last day of each month that contains original articles, stories, interviews, profiles and vegan recipes, and a free ebook gifted from subscribing. Paid subscribers can expect two additional monthly posts from us, including a conversational essay and a curated list of our 20 favourite discoveries, recent readings, podcasts and more. Paid subscribers will also enjoy complete access to the entire This is Lagom Substack archive and the ability to engage in post commentary.
We want this space to become a tangible resource that excites and inspires people to approach consumption differently—if we do our inner work, the collective outer world will transform.
